Downloading Speed Stream Accelerator

You can download Web Bungie Speed Stream Accelerator from our software downloads page. Once the software is downloaded you can proceed to Installing Speed Stream Accelerator.

Installing Speed Stream Accelerator

The following steps will walk you through installing and configuring Web Bungie Speed Stream Accelerator. Please Note - SPEED STREAM ACCELERATOR IS ONLY FOR CUSTOMERS WHO CURRENTLY SUBSCRIBE TO A HIGH SPEED ACCOUNT AND WILL NOT WORK WITH STANDARD DIAL-UP ACCOUNTS. If you are unsure of your account type please click here to check your eligibility. For information on upgrading your account please login to your account manager.

If you have an installation CD place the CD in your CD-Rom drive.

If you downloaded the file you must located the folder that you saved the file to and execute it.

1. Locate the 'speed_stream.exe' file and double click on it. Depending on your security setting you may receive a security warning like the one below. Click the Run button.
   
   
    
2. You will then see the Speed Stream welcome screen. It is a good idea to close all programs before continuing setup. Click Next to continue.
   
   
    
3. The next screen will display our end user agreement. you must check the I agree check box and click Next.
4. The next screen will display the location that setup will install Speed Stream to. It is recommended that you use the default location. If you need to change the path click the Browse button and choose an install location. Click Next to continue setup.
5. Setup will then begin to install Speed Stream on your computer. Setup may take a few minutes to finish depending on the speed of your computer. When setup is complete you will see a Setup Complete screen. Click Finish.
6. Setup may require that you restart your computer.
   
   
    
7. After the system restarts you will be prompted to enter your Username and Password. For your Username YOU MUST ENTER YOUR FULL E-MAIL ADDRESS. For example if your username is charles, then you must enter charles@webbungie.com. After you have entered your e-mail address and password then click OK.
   
   
    
8. Speed Stream is now installed. When you connect to the Internet, the Speed Stream client will automatically start. If you are having trouble getting Speed Stream to start or if you are receiving error messages please review our troubleshooting steps.
